Alright, correct me if I'm wrong but, there are Japanese and American versions of the Neo Geo AES system and Japanese games and American games, and some made only for those regions exclusively. Now, any Neo Geo AES can play any Neo Geo AES cart, whether it be Jap. or Amer., and you can choose which language you want, either english or japanese, when you play any game on either system, but the Amer. AES system censors some of the more violent scenes in Jap. and Amer. games, but the Jap. AES system doesn't. So I should get a Japanese AES system?

Well you are correct in a way about cencorship on some games for the us system but also although most games have the option for language change, i think there are two or three, cant remember what they are that only have japanese language on them, its best to get a us system and just have it modded <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Thanks for the info, but there's no way I'm getting it modded; so if that's the case, and since I don't mind and actually quite enjoy Japanese, would the Japanese AES be the better choice?

there are more then just 2 or 3. more like 30-40. most of the Fighters well have the langage option though. The older ones though like samurai shodown 1 will not let you change the language.

Japanese by far is the best option if you were to go with one language if only to remove censorship. Although there are codes for some of the games to remove the censorship in english.

on games like magical drop II and III in japanese it is much more exiciting to play, more sound effects even if you can not read what they are saying.

some games like Dunk Dream/Street hoop/Street slam play differntly in the different languages which is another game you can not choose the language in from a menu.

Insaneben! Where did you find this (don't tell anyone else PLEASE hahaha, not joking, I'll seriously consider getting it), are these guys a reliable place to buy from? Have you ever bouten anything from them before?
