This monitor is a Wells Gardner 25K7181 (WG 7000 series).

All the colors are there, but green is very prominent. Red and blue are faded.

From reading other posts, I am not sure if a cap kit will fix this? I have a kit and am planning to do it (safety first!). Any experts out there to weigh in? :D

Yes, I forgot to mention that. It made quite a difference. Blue was almost not noticeable before I played around with it.

I don't think that needs a cap kit...I just think it needs to be tuned correctly. There is a good guide on byoac for tuning monitors...you a should give it a read.

I will try it! Sorry, but what is BYOC? Im new here.

I think he meant byoac, it's another website full of useful information. YouTube has lots of great repair vids of this model as well as a dedicated thread for this model on Klov too.

If pot adjustment don't fix the problem, you may have weak colour guns. Having said that you have 2 different colour pot on the neck. Drive and cut off.

Yes BYOAC. Build you own arcade controls.
