If I was picking my top three go to Neo fighters I think it would have to be:

Real Bout Special
KOF 99
Fatal Fury Special

In that order.

And an outsider that I always seem to play but couldn't bring myself to put in the top three, Double Dragon.

good call on kof 96 there polluxtroy. an iconic game for the system that doesn't make it on many peoples top three very often.

king of fighters 2002

fatal fury special may take the place of kof 2002 from time to time.

See sig, but haven't played all of the fighters yet. Motw, LB and RBFFS seem to be very strong contestants from the first few rounds I played with pals

The first two are obvious, but I enjoy SVC chaos even though most seem to feel differently about it. I do prefer the super plus hack with the bosses unlocked.

I really thought most people would have the same KOF in their lists, but it's quite diverse. I'm happy about that! Other than that, it's a hard question, kind of like asking your top 3 movies. It changes from day to day, but those 3 are among the games I keep going back to.

Last Blade 2
KOF 96 (Could be any other from 95-99 depending on mood)

The top two are pretty much set in stone:

1. KOF '97.
2. SS 2.

But there are a few games still fighting for the three spot.

Good thing SNK made a 4 Slot. :lolz:

Yes, the first one. Doesn't play great but I throw it in pretty regularly due to the awesome atmosphere. Of course "Last Blade" plays better, but it was my first and therefore has a special place in my heart. :)
