Actually, why buy the import version of KOF 99 Evo when its been announced that the game will be coming to the U.S.? Personally, I prefer to wait for a domestic release of DC games if possible, I just prefer the manual and CD case to be in English.

I do make an exception when I'm not sure if the game will hit the U.S., as is the case with Last Blade 2: Final Edition (December import release) and Guilty Gear X (also December import release). Although these two titles are very likely to come out here, I'm not willing to take the chance . . . I'll pick up the imports, and if the domestic ones hit later, I'll get those too.

I agree. But KOF 99 Evolution has the option to play in Eng. Granted, still some of the stuff is in Jap, but it should be fine.

KOF evolution is entirely in english. Also has an english language option when playing, Just like Dream Match 99'

The USA booklets are always in black and white, And cover art is ushually horrible.

I have KOF dream match import as well, Nice big color book, Enter american version, Bland Black and White booklet...

Anyways 29 dollars for a game everyone else has for 50 is a great deal.

And to the guy above there is no KOF evolution for PSX, It's kust KOF 99, Doesn't have the extra strikers (I dont think), And the game probly sucks since it is the PSX...

Screw the color pics in the Japanese manual. I want the localized version if possible. Sure, I'd rather have a nice color manual, but I don't care for the text inside being all Japanese. If you're patient, the U.S. version is worth waiting for. Real English manual, and CD insert.

I'd prefer Japanese version--much cheaper when US version comes out.......hahhahahah.
that's why I have so much Japanese games.
One main reason why I buy JPN version is I hate those so-called "localized". A lot of games from Japanese have been removing of sexual/nudity/violence out from US version. that's sux

..yeah, like Mai and her bounciness! I like getting a localized version of a game if I can, but I am willing to make exceptions.
