Well I just hooked up the monitor in my Dynamo HS-5 25" screen and I see this

I know how to discharge a monitor but my soldering skills are extremely poor (hand twitches a little bit especially if I concentrating).

Any suggestions are needed.

Even if it's so I don't sound like a total dumb fuck on the phone.

There's so much I feel comfortable with changing on a cab (harness, joysticks, buttons, cp) that of course, a problem arises in the one area I'm poor in.

What kind of monitor is it exactly? Have you fiddled with any of the pots on the chassis itself?

I've turned a few pots but fear I'm making things worse.

Try fiddling with the pots on the remote board. They short/break easily. Reflow the solder on them if possible. Otherwise, try adjusting the brightness pot on the flyback.

Looks like your horizontal hold is messed up, like Dask said, trying turning the pots on the remote board.

If it is the H-Hold at fault, I think that pot's on the chassis itself and not the remote board. More than one issue possibly.

Turning the h hold either way makes it worse.

it is on the chassis.

it had to be the vert cab damnit.

Try turning the Vertical hold pot. That one should be on the remote board.

what about other boards on the cab? some shooters have weird sync issues with cabs but work on superguns fine. don't know if this is one of those or what...

I dropped it off today. I showed him pictures of what it was doing and he asked a bunch of questions. Just glancing at it, there's no obvious problems.

So I went back to replacing other shit on the Dynamo, the power supply died. No marquee light, fan blowing or sound. It was fine, yesterday. :(

When I took a good look at the PS, I saw masking tape with "works? 12v low".

Ordered a new one from a guy 300 miles away so I shouldn't have to wait long.

It turned out to be the flyback was cracked all to hell. With a replacement, it's fine now.
