Composite vs SCART

Hey all , i have a Japanese AES with serial number in 250,000 range (not at home to check exactly). Im wondering how bad scart to hdmi upscaler will look on a new plasma tv? Unfortunately my tvs composite shares a component plug so its a pain in the ass connecting so hdmi would be more convenient.

AES on newer TV Sets has to run through a great upscaller like the Framemeister, X-RGB3, etc.

Shitty , ill just get a tube TV in case. Might even just sell it and get a CMVS that can do component. Does component through a CMVS look any good on modern Tvs?

spend $1000 a TV nowadays and they cant even give a separate composite port...cheap fuckers.
