Basic Candy Cab Power Questions

I just acquired a Blast City and had a couple questions about how to best power it:

Is it a good idea to swap the two prong power cord for a grounded one?
What type of surge protector is best?

Yea you can switch it out without issue. Any decent surge protector should be fine as well.

Don't hook the power leads to your nipples, no matter how good of an idea it sounds in your head.

I would also recommend pulling the power supply completely out and taking the cover off and blowing out the inside, a lot of smoke and dust can build up and cause a dead power supply faster than you would think.

Do this and also check to make sure the fan works, mine was toast.
