European Neo Geo serial number???

Well, I'm receiving my Japanese Neo Geo Cartrige in one week, but today I've found a very cheap european Neo Geo PAL (about 100$ without box but in very good condition) and I'm thinking of buying it for back-up. Its serial number is about 35000. Can anybody tell me if this is a newer or older model? (Remember it is european)

I've two euro systems. The serial numbers are about 25.000 and 45.000. Surely aren't old systems (so your too) because my first system number was about 10.000 and it had the typical problems about "parallasse" and sound that are missing in the newer systems.
