RB2: Alfred playable?

OK, I finally managed to get to get to alfred and beat him Is there anyway to play as him? Normally you have to beat the special character to play as them, does that apply here? Oh yeah, I'm using an MVS.

I believe the only version that lets you play as Alfred is the PSX version of Real Bout Special: Dominated Mind.

1.Do not lose single round.
2.Depeat opponent with S.power 7 times
or P.power 5 times.

Back when I had my modded neo cart, I remember a code letting you play as him, but you could only do it on his background. I can't remember the code, but it was sort of neat to play as him. I think he sucks, however. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">
