Fatal Fury 3 home cart sound bad

Hello everybody,
Wondering if anybody has any advice on what is causing the bad sound on this home cart. I just got it yesterday, it is in like new condition and I have never had a problem with any other carts I've had.
Is the cart defective or are the contacts somehow dirty. Anybody have any advice how to correct this. Thank you.

Well, I would have posted this in the Tech Support area. You'll get more responses there, and Jeff Kurtz, the moderator, is probably one of THE most knowledgable people when it comes to any technical issues related to the Neo.

Having said that, check the PCB board contacts to see if they look oxidized or dirty. If they do, use a pencil eraser to clean the contacts, thats the best way to clean them according to popular opinion.

If the contacts are OK, then one or more of the sound ROMs in the cart may be loose or bad. Jeff can probably check your cart out and, if possible, repair it. He's 100% reliable, he modded my Neo cart system and did a super professional job on it.

You can take an eraser and clean the contacts on the edge connector gently, This will rub all the dirt and dust off, Even the stuff you cant see but its there.

Worked for my MVS carts I got that had garbled graphics when booted up
