MD2 VERSUS MD3

Just curious. Which Magical Drop 3 is better?

I ask this because in an interesting email to someone they told me some people enjoy MD2 more. I always assumed that the higher the version number the better it is. This does seem to be true but there are exceptions (Samurai Shodown comes to mind.)

Can anyone give me a hand with this? I almost want to hear "Yes MD2 IS better" but I'd rather hear the truth. MD3 is so hard to find and not available on the Neo-CD.

There's not really much difference between the two. The only reason I would rate MD3 higher is because it has an extra game mode which is only avaliable in MD2 if it's played on a Japanese machine.
