you should be good wiring it like that. you can also use the built in vga port on the atomiswave to wire up a db-15 to scart adapter if you wanted, since it outputs composite sync there. you'll just need to make sure that dip 1 is set to off so that it's outputting 15khz sync. the pinout and other info is in the manual found here:

Thank you very much for the information. Do you think that the resistors are suitable?

Yes.

But you would rather want to have SCART pin 16 wired to +12V in order to force 4:3 ratio.
You should use a 560ohm resistor if you want to go +12V.

I also use a 390ohm resistor on the sync line.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. But the aspect ratio would not be pin 8?

Yes. Pardon my fault, I usually link the resistor between pin 8 & 16.
But you get the idea. +12V forces 4:3.

+5V instead of 12 might be frustrating on TV's that doesn't have forced 4:3 settings.
That would oblige you to use the remote every time.
I went through that hell once. Never wanna get to pass it again.

Ok, then could connect 12v directly to pin 8? The wikipedia indicates that 4:3 are activated between 9.5-12V, but not sure it could damage the TV scart.

Yes. But add the resistor on the Sync line too.

Just like this :

I already bought resistors 220Ω, 560Ω and 390Ω, but are 1/4W. It would work well?
