Do these even exist? I'm fed up with sitting on my floor. The Neo controllers have to have the shortest cables of all time.

Yeah, why pay 10 bucks for a cable when you can get it from Shawn for only 30...

You can just use pc joystick extender cables and shave off a little bit of the plastic around the female end so it will fit in the console. You can get these at www.belkin.com.

Oh yeah!! They're the same ports - I never thought of that.

Thanks for the help.

I got PC joystick extension cables. (Actually, they're Mac monitor cables... Same thing.) Anyway, I pretty much wrecked them modding them to fit in the control slots. My two homemade Neo Geo controller extension cables are finished now, and they just barely work. I don't know if it's my crappy craftsmanship, or if I just bought the wrong brand, but these things have to be in the slot just right before they fully work. I don't know if I should try again, or just get some premade ones. Right now I feel like a lost cause.

I think this board has things pretty damn covered. No need for that. We just use the J-Fan board over at my Neo Geo site now.

I have an old PC gamepad here at work that is actually quite good.

I might take it home tonight and see if it works on my Neo. The D-Pad on my Neo pad is helluva loose, I don't know if they're meant to be like that or what.

No harm in trying!

Anyone who is still searching for extension cables, I've found exactly what you need. Go to the following URL. They're selling 6 foot joystick extension cables for just $3. I ordered four of them and had no problems with this retailer. The cables come almost ready to use with none of that metal bullshit on the ends to get in the way. You just need to cut off a small section of plastic on one end. I was easily able to quickly mod all four cables using just a regular knife. The cables fit and work perfectly. You end up with a near perfect finished product. It's a good deal.
