Neo Geo AES LSPC2-A2 swap

I gotta Neo Geo console that powers on dodgey sprits. I was told it was the LSPC2-A2, is there anyone on here that could fix it for me?

I wouldn't jump that far so quickly. First, what is wrong with the sprites? Can you take a picture?

If there are vertical lines through the sprites, check the path from the CHAR board's data lines to whatever buffers go into the LSPC2-A2.

If there are wrong colors, weird blocky shapes, etc. check the CHAR board's address lines as well.

I have one now where about two traces were eaten away from that chip so that's where your problem probably lies.. examine the connections surrounding the chip to see if you don't notice some green gunk/residue eating yor traces.
