I have a friend with a Goldie. Since he bought it, the mini marquee hasn't lit up. The other day we were poking around and found that one of the plugs was disconnected, so we reconnected it... and quickly disconnected it again.
Did not light up, and had a terrible whining to it that made us think of death.
So anyone have any ideas for repairing/replacing the MV-ELA-1 board to let him have a working mini marquee again? Other than ebay obviously. Alternatively, if anyone has any decent ideas on how to make it just be a standard LED backlight, that'd work too.
