Naomi Cart error 'JAMMA I/O board error'

Hi Guys,

Just got a copy of Virtua Tennis. It is constantly giving me the above error. I have cleaned the contacts of the cart. It gives the error sometimes straight away, sometimes after playing for 5 mins, even played it for 20 before getting the error.

I have tried 2 other carts, all with no issues at all. Tried a different USB cable same error. I'm using a Naomi 2. The naomi is powered from an ATX power supply. And using capcom I/O.

Any ideas?

OK something further to add that is really weird. I net booted the same game and get the exact same errors. Is there a known issue with Virtua Tennis and Naomi 2's?

From what I can see on a few forums, it looks like Virtua Tennis doesn't like Capcom I/O boards.

many sega games are a little picky about the capcom I/O that is why I prefer the sega ver.2. Gundam is another one that give some problems with the capcom.
