Over the weekend I recapped my WG K7000 chassis. I also replaced the flyback, HOT and voltage regulator.

The screen colors look great and the definition looks great and it took care of the wavy vertical lines I had on the left hand side of the screen.

However, I now noticed that towards the top of the screen the image is kind of expanding and contracting slightly oce every second. It's fairly subtle and not noticeable during gameplay but irritates me nonetheless just knowing it's there...

Has anybody else ever had a problem such as this?

Hows the neck board?
I had my k7500 chassis recapped by Chad...
But I also needed to replace the neck board (NoS, also on his site).
Doing these things solved all of my issues.

did you replace the main filter cap too ? ( that huge one in the corner )

It's not part of a cap kit normally and will fix wavyness issues.

I had a k7000 chassis doing this:

Nope, I didn't replace that huge cap...perhaps I shall pull the chassis again and swap that one as well... Thanks for the tip!
