AES composite and S-video problems: Dull color and jittering

I've encountered some strange problems with my AES lately, which span both the composite and S-video outputs (the latter being modded of course). The color is really weak on both outputs and I get some jittering at the top of the screen depending on what's displayed. I've tried adjusting the variable capacitor for the colorburst signal but that didn't work. What's going on here?

Sounds like an AC coupling problem. Got pics?

NM, it seems to have been a combination of the service menu settings on my PVM and not having the automatic chroma correction on. *shrugs* Very strange. At least now S-video looks great again and composite is as crappy as ever.
