Hello all,

I recently purchased an MV1, I haven't received it yet but from pictures I can see that the underside solder points are corroded, everything else looks ok but I won't know for sure until it arrives.

I was wondering if the sliders can just be replaced by a different potentiometer(s)?

I can solder, I'm not great at it but I've soldered plenty of things, as long as it's not really small things.

I will try to post a picture of the underside later today

Looks like dirty flux residue. If it works, don't mess with it. If it really bothers you, desolder the joints and add fresh solder. No need to pull out the volume sliders.

yup. If you don't like the look, you can clean up the joints with isopropanol alcohol. It's nothing but cosmetics however.

thanks guys, this is good news.

I will clean up the board when it arrives next week.

the main thing is I just want it to work, I plan on building my own arcade cabinet and I will use it for that.
