Yesterday, had a marathon in SSIII using mostly expert mode, realized that you don't need to block in SSIII. Sacrifice blocking and give in to all out aggressive attacking.
I'm not sure if this is true, but expert mode may give you improved priority, less recovery time, and improved sword clash mashing. This is something I would like to confirm with smkdan.
Anyhow, if there was an SSIII tournament right now, I would enter with Bust Hanzo expert mode, or Bust Galford expert mode. Both characters can teleport out of rushdowns. Hanzo especially, with his down down + a, can teleport in place and then have a moment to teleport elsewhere and create breathing room for his mind games.
But no matter who you choose in expert mode, you can't really give your opponent time to think. So you have to be the one doing the rushdown. all out aggressive attacking.
