KOFR-2

Is there a way of clearing KOFR-2 data???i just got the ASN version, but for some strange reason EX KYO, OROCHI YASHIRO, MAKING MODE, and the ALL CLEAR RECORD (what does that mean?) always remain...maybe the game was used, but doesn't the save go into the NGPC, not the cartridge...

Well I haven't tryed deleting, and I won't becouse all the data will go lost... First of all you can start Making mode with a new character without clearing the whole game its just overwriting. It is strange trough that you can't clear the game data. I don't know about clearing EX KYO, OROCHI YASHIRO and the record data. And yes the data wil be saved to the cartridge. I have 1 KoF R-2 and my brother aswell when we switch our cartridges the data goes with it.

Yes, the NGPC carts employ flash ROM that allows save info to be written directly to the cartridge. Pretty nice, that. No betteries to die in the carts over time.

While we're talking about KOF R2, does anyone know an easier way to make certain secret characters appear? I've got all of them apart from Orochi Chris. Oh, and Trust me Knowyourrole you DON'T want to delete those characters you have already... its a real pain to get them all <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

if you need orochi chris, you must use Shermi, to get him quickly you use the cheat or pressing option when selecting play style which makes specials a lot easier to do and just keep doing specials, chris should appear after 2 people have been beaten, if you beat him then beat the game he should be yours, BTW, how did you get Omega Rugal???? he's who i need <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

ITS A BUG, I don't know any one who actually has all the characters. I have all exept one Rugal, I've beaten the game a million times but he never comes as a challenger. I think its the same with you Rain, can't get Orochi Chris. The only thing I can do is trade it with my brother since he has Rugal. And an easier way to get new characters is to play on hard mode.

I remember getting Rugal, but I have no idea how.... i've fought him about 3 times as a secret challenger since..... Its kinda weird when you fight him, as you have to fight him again after the Orochi team fight, as the final boss... I wish they had used a different system for the secret fighters... the one in KOF R1 was fine.

I nkow a guy who I go to scholl with that has all of the charecters...I've got all of them, except ex-Mai and ex-Ryo. For Rugal, I kept playing through as Kyo to sharpen my skills with him and Rugal appeared about the 3rd time through. One irritating thing that I've noticed is that after you get a certain secret charecter, You fight that charecter you just got as a challenger very often afterwards. As far as I've always been told, the challenger is random every time. At least it is a great game to keep you occupied while you try to get all of those elusive charcters.. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
