Why was there never a AES to MVS converter made?

It would be nice to have a converter to play AES games on a arcade cabinet. Is there a reason this has never been done? It seems like someone over the years would have made one of these since I think that majority of people who own a supergun, consolozized MVS, or cabinet would like to pick up the cheap games for the original AES.

It would probably be harder to go AES to MVS since AES carts have a ZMC2 in it when MVS has it on the mobo itself. I guess going from MVS to AES you just need to incorporate the ZMC2 via software. I dunno.

You'd probably have to multiplex the sprite data back to pre-ZMC2 / PRO-CT0 so the MVS can do the multiplexing itself. Wasn't ROM speed an issue too? AES carts are too fast?
