Problem with Metal Slug NGPC!

I was just playing Metal Slug 1st Mission on my NGPC when all of a sudden the character would freeze everytime I jumped. The game would keep playing and the character would move back and forth, but instead of walking back and forth he would just glide, he was frozen in a jump pose and wouldn't jump or shoot just glide back and forth until I pushed the option button, then everything was normal until I jumped again. Finally after he got killed and I continued, everything was back to normal. Anyone ever have this problem before, or is it just my game?

Dang that sucks I never had any problems with mine, wonder what the deal is.

I think that's just a freak accident I've played a lot of MS and never ever had that problem I did have a similar problem with my gameboy color once and it was also juist a freeak accident

I have played through it several times and never ran into that problem . . . maybe its time to find a replacement.
