As I was talking to cre$u$ about all the stuff I bought off Lik-Sang, he pointed out that the last blade games I bought... are the USA version!!!

They say it comes cart only, and I am anxiously awaiting my shipment. I guess SNK DID make some of this game, just never released it in the USA...

I'm pretty sure I heard that there were no USA versions of Last Blade manufactured but I could be wrong. But if it is true and you have an extra copy could I buy it off of you? All I really care about is getting the game with English text and if I can avoid spending $150 for the UK version that works for me. :D

looks like I'm screwed! I just read the post and I went there and everything was already gone! Looks like I'll never get this game as the price gouging will begin!

I wonder what's going to happen to my order. I read about the news on sunday and placed my order that night, but then I also sent payment by PayPal, I hope if they can't satisfy my order at the very least I will get a refund.

Yes, I placed a very large order (300+$) and when I got to the order status page, it says that they have all the units that I ordered but that the games are out of stock. I guess we will just have to wait and see...

I read the description that LIKSANG had for Last Blade and their description says it is the japanese version.

Uh-oh, that's not good...it sounds like they're pulling a Buy-Rite. Hope you don't get screwed by them. :(

I think you went overboard SNKneogeousaCTH. I only ordered 8, that is, 4 Gals Fighters and 4 Last Blade so as to make the shipping actually worthwhile for me. If I don't get my shipment, this is your fault ^_^; Besides, I don't think there were even that many carts made for any single SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color title, what were you thinking with your 300+ order?

You know, I tried to order some a copy, but now I can't because they're all gone.

I'll be very, very upset if I see an abundance of these games on ebay soon with a jacked price

Duh! Of course they will, the guy above you bought 4 copies of everything ;)

The people buying multiple copies of these games, hoping to cash in, are clowns really. They're loose games, just in the plastic boxes and are pretty much worthless to collectors. Unless ofcourse it is the US last blade..

They're about £5 which is about the price you'd expect to pay for those games, jap and unboxed. The only people who should be interested in these games are players. People who actually want to buy games to play on their NGPCs for a fair price. It would be LOVELY if people could just leave these games alone unless they actually intend on playing them and not trying to cash in.

Also, they're probably "out of stock" because Lik-sang haven't got them yet.

Put an order in anyway :) I'm pretty sure they're only out of stock because they haven't received them from the suppliers yet.

I mean.. Come on, who would buy the Pachinko games?? ;)

If an item is out of stock and unavailable then Lik-Sang disable the purchase button.

If they can't get anymore I'm sure they'll refund. They've refunded me (not "store credit") for stuff before.

I ordered one of each game, I already have all the decent games but my girlfriend doesn't and is an NGPC fan (hooked on cardfighters), and they'll be nice for two player linkup. Not like I need boxes and instructions for that.

The pachinko games I got.. Just because.

I bought 2 systems and two of each game... One for myself and one for a friend of mine. And I got a nice link cable as well. Well, all that is in stock are the systems and cable, as they are ready to go, but all my games say will ship when they are back in stock :( I always wanted a NGPC, but never got one. I hope this works out, cause I got a little excited over it (plus I got two so we could do link up Last Blade, etc). OH WELL,

-Nick

I've actually seen it go that high on eBay. I'm willing to pay quite a bit for the game, but even I have my limits of sanity (well sometimes).

is lik-sang reliable with pictures? or are you all just blowing a small error way out of proportion? When anyone recieves thier shipment let me know

I got the last word on this already? damn straight where's the proof? the pics next to stuff when you get this alleged game. But maybe it says jap version because it actually is! <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" />

Even if it is an error, that wouldn't explain where they got a pic of the US version that shouldn't even exist. Also, the fact that these carts are loose like this suggests that maybe they were send-backs from when SNK closed down their foreign branches, so they'd be either US or European/Asian, not Japanese. It'll be intresting to see, won't it?

Interesting point about the "send backs" look on Yahoo Japan and 80% or more of the NGPCs are English versions (or OVERSEAS EDITION as bablefish puts it :) ).

It's possible that some of these carts are ones that were sent back to Aruze that they didn't get around to recycling.

It's also possible that the US last blade pictured WAS a US last blade that was reprogrammed with the JAP language rom and they didn't bother relabeling it.

Anyway I don't care if anyone has gone overboard and bought shed loads of these carts hoping to profit, because they'll never shift them.. Or atleast they'll never make a decent profit.

The NGPCs pictured are slimline ones but given the ratio of UK to Jap NGPCs available on Yahoo Japan (waaaay more UK than Jap) it's fairly likely that they'll be standard versions. Either way the people buying tonnes of them "for friends" will be able to make a profit there.
