Good choice. Card Clash is my favorite NGPC title. What version are you going to get? Or are you planning to get both...

-Bust a Move/ Puyo Puyo
-Faseli? (haven't played long enough to give solid opinion, though)

That's odd. I recall reading elsewhere that "Cool Boarders Pocket" was ass itself, and not "kickin'" in the least.

Cool Boarders isnt that a good game. Its not that bad too. The sound is bad,graphics as well. And the game has not too many modes to play in. But its fun, for a few days http://www.neo-geo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well I can understand a Dolphin not liking snow, But do you guys actually have the game, cos' I do and let me tell you "IT'S NOT ARSE, IT'S CLASS" (I'll translate that for you Yankee's, for ARSE read ASS)
Cool Boarders Isometric, Zaxxonesque approach to the genre is a stroke of genius. If it has a fault, its a bit frigging hard in places. I did have a colecovision with Zaxxon though, and that might have coloured my view of this game somewhat.

I have Cool Boarders and personally I think its pretty cr*p, boring after a couple of days play. I don't think it's worth the price currently being commanded unless you want a complete NGP collection. As for the three best non fighters I think stick with Metal Slug 1 (& 2), Sonic and Puzzle Bobble Mini. Evolution is worth a try but can get rather repetitive, although for handheld fare it is not bad.

Also watch out for Pocket Reversi, a rarer game and that really sucks!

still insist that Cool Boarders isn't that good. Metal Slug 1 & 2 and Sonic or cotton (maybe, coz I don't like PC Engine version that much and Neo version is identical to PC Engine). Neo Geo Pocket doesn't have a lot of variety in game genre (mostly fighting games or puzzle/mahjong/gambling games).....well, at least it satisfies we Neo gamers http://www.neo-geo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Only non fighting games ive got are Faselei, Evolution, both MS games and Baseball Stars.

Personally i played most on Ghost trick in MOTM http://www.neo-geo.com/ubb/redface.gif) though Evolution is getting some hammer time at the mo. I keep meaning to pick up Cool Boarders and Sonic , but just too many games to get at the moment.

Ah, got my wires crossed - I thought you wanted to trade AES KOF 94!!! Not sure if I am selling CB on the NGPC yet but if I decide to and you don't have it I'll let you have first refusal.

Also, I may have a Neo 1 slot coming up early in the New Year. I have two and one is being sent off to be fixed (battery on board needs replacing I think) so I'll try and remember to drop you a mail to see if you have got one assuming it's ok.

Didn't realise the DC was the Neo fan's other console of choice - cool - must mean I have good taste if others agree!

I had a UK PS2 on launch and sold it three days later - definately not my thing and I certainly won't be purchasing another anytime soon.
