The rarerest NGPC game has to be the English clam shell version of 'POCKET REVERSI'. This title is sooo hard to find.

What's rare is in the eye of the beholder it seems when it comes to the NGPC...so, I say Capcom vs SNK: Card Clash 2 is the rarest...

UK Pocket Reversi is easily the rarest, you can buy a copy of CFC2 at otaku still, PR you cant buy anywhere.

kof r-3 is the rarest. But you cannot find it because of this. there were only 5 copies made I believe and only 1 is in america. I'm not gonna say who has it thought because most of you know already(and I don't want to get banned becuase you may stalk and mug him)

Would you care to back up this statement. How do you know 5 copies were released, can anyone confirm any of this?

KOF r-3 and ikari warriors pocket.

it probably is some euro-clamshell game, those are the rarest in general. Pocket reversi euro sound the most plausible.

Both these titles are unreleased in ANY region. Rumoured to be in development but not even a screenshot was ever released. I suppose that does make them rare, a zero unit production run would make them slightly tricky to track down. Especially the UK clamshell non-release.

Please just remember that we also have Mark of the Wolves on the Gameboy Advance. Know what I mean.

No one has either KoF R3 or Ikari Warriors. Don't let anyone decieve you into thinking otherwise.

I do know what you mean Wasabi, although I've never seen a pirated/hack-job game for the NGPC. What I really meant was that Zorro was talking a load of crap, I was just trying to be polite about it.

Ok AFAIK NO copies of KOF R-3 were produced. Anything resembling it out there is either a bootleg or a leaked ROM of an unfinished version. Trust me, I'd love a copy of KOF R-3, but it just doesn't exist. :(

What about the Japanese baseball game that had to be pulled off the shelves because they didn't have the rights to use officially licensed Japanese teams? I forget the official name but I've only seen it once on evilBay.

Ebay sellers rarely ever list this game correctly anyways, but it's Neo Poke Pro Yakkyu. I always see it listed as Neo Geo Baseball or as Base Ball Stars. I guess it's the Kanji that throws off the sellers. And that's why it is so cheaply obtainable and "rare" at the same time. ;) Though in Japan this game sellers for $10 on auction (selling to japanese only so forget it).

That was Neo Pocket Pro Yakyuu (NEOP00260). It is uncommon rather than rare.
I have also seen it on some of the unofficial 12 in 1 multi carts.
It is almost identical to Dynamite Slugger, only different teams.

These are the games that I believe are the rarest for each continent (and Evolution or Faselei aren't in any of the lists !)
EUROPEAN -
1. Pocket Reversi (NEOP0104)
2. Picture Puzzle (NEOP0106)
3. Neo Baccarat (NEOP0098)
4. Dive Alert - Becky's Version (NEOP0089)
5. Cool Boarders Pocket (NEOP0075)

JAPANESE -
1. Mezase! Kanjiou (NEOP00630)
2. Mizuki Shigeru Youkai Shashinkan / Ghost Photo Studio (NEOP00620)
3. Pachinko Slot ARUZE Oukoku Pocket Navigator (NEOP01100)
4. Koi Koi Mah-jong (NEOP00910)
5. Nige-ron-pa (NEOP00960)

AMERICAN -
1. Dive Alert - Becky's Version (NEOP00891)
2. Shanghai Mini (NEOP00401)
3. Metal Slug 2nd Mission (NEOP00611)
4. Dark Arms (Beast Busters '99) (NEOP00451)
5. Puyo Pop (NEOP00411)

Some are rarer than others, and it does depend where in the world you live.
However, I doubt if I am far off the mark.
