Turbo CD/DUO Help

I have (this is kind of funny)

A Turbo Duo but the sound cuts in and out..

I've been told it's a common thing with the capacitor for the sound ...needs to be replaced.

and a Turbo CD attachment (simply does not work) it turns on, and it's AV out works for RGB when attached to the Turbo Graphix, but when I put in a CD it doesn't spin.

Is there anyone where willing/capable of fixing either or both of these?

I'm confused. So you have a Turbografx with a CD attachment or a TurboDuo?

I could help you out with the cap replacement. As far as the CD not spinning, I could look at it, but no guarantees.
I know that with the Turbo CD add on they use these plastic gears that get brittle and break. Someone was making bronze gears awhile back.

Also, if you are using a TG with CD (not turboduo), you must have the hucard for it to work;




edit; re-reading this I'm assuming you have both?

yeah jetblue is the man. He recapped one of my duos recently and does top work. He can also fix your probably busted gear in your cd rom drive as well. Those are the two most common problems in these NEC systems so don't feel bad this is merely just upkeep almost every system needs now.
