I finally got to play this game and it's great BUT the enemies REALLY put a bruising on ya. They love to double/tripe/quadruple team the player. I guess it's not too bad because it seems a bit more realistic that way. It was always weird to see the other enemies on final fight just stand their while you beat down on their friends. HOWEVER, I have a major problem with the last boss. He's TERRIBLE!! He kept doing his special over and over again and I could never finish a combo because he would just block most of my hits! It was the WORST fight of my life! And to make matters worse once I got him down to his last bit of life he just regained most of his life again!!

Not a bad game but definitely not SNK's best work. But since we haven't seen a beat'em up of this calibre in a while it's very welcome.

Only if you can get it cheap, or have money to burn.

Chances are, you'll probably get sick of it, and quickly. I know I did (my $270 Japanese AES is gathering dust as we speak).

Well; I have got until the door on the last stage with one credit... but I usually fall against the "Thunder Samurai" from the previous level.

One way to ditch out energy from the Final Boss on Sengoku can be done with Biakki (cheap bastar).

Use Punch, punch, punch, punch, punch, weapon canceled in his dn, dn + Weapon move; if you got no spirit left; end the chain with A+B+C.

There is a pattern with the last boss desperation move; you can avoid it with practice; if not; never forget A+B+C.

The game is not the best; but as it has been SO MUCH time for an arcade; and even more for an MVS decent beat 'em up; you just play it.

There's plenty of blood. Plus, there's frogs. And bicycles. And little bird things that you can punch. And a female character who could've used a support brassiere (but chose not to wear one in the game, for some strange reason). And the game isn't very fun.

Is there some type of rateing system at the end of the game ? Like how many times you died or continues that were used ? Games that have this always up the replay value for me . <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/cool.gif" border="0">

Sengoku 3 is certainly the best beat-em-all game and for this reason, it has a place in every fan collection.
