NGPC -> DC Compatibility

I have a question regarding the linkability of the NGPC and the Dreamcast. Has anyone had any experience trying to link an import NGPC game to an American DC game?

Does anyone know if future American DC games (KoF99, Cap vs SNK, etc.) will support the NGPC link, even though the NGPC is gone from the US?

I think Capcom vs. SNK will feature a link-function. They already have it in the japanese version so why should they put it. And even in Japan the pocket wasn't hot anymore at the release of Capcom vs. SNK (DC).

Only KoF DM 99 uses it.

Capcom VS SNK might, but it hasn't been said, and I bet it will get axed.

CvsS is the only future game that might support it in the US, unless someone picks up CCT and KoF Evo 99 and leaves it intact.
