I need to replace these worn out joysticks.

Exactly what are they?

My local dealer has those on his MK II machine, he says they are knockoffs and he's never seen them for sale.

Those joysticks were in the Battlestation II controllers made in Australia.

That's all I know. I do have a couple...

That looks a lot like a Crown brand stick but I can't say 100%

If you're going to replace the joystick, replace it with something of good quality.

I wholeheartedly agree. Once I identify it I can see what other drop in options I have.

Ok so it appears to be a MCA joystick - very widespread in the South Pacific here. Malignantpoodle gave me an idea to widen the search using the battlestation.

Apparently it uses the same mounting holes as a Happ : http://forums.shoryuken.com/discussion/164132
Topic referenced indicates the Happ has a big throw angle, is this correct?

Yeah the Happs are anything but short throw but still good sticks. Go for IL sticks if you have the choice. Same bolt pattern but better build than the current Happ sticks.

Just had a look at that link, those sticks they put in are shit in my opinion. Ive got two of them here, same type as used in the XARCADE sticks.

HUGE throw on them. I might have to pull one out and post it up.

If you decide to go to the originals for whatever reason I can ship you the two I have.

I imagine you do want something better though.

And you're right, I remember now having looked them up myself; MCA joysticks hehe.

Sorry for the delay. Thanks HEAPS for the offer of the joysticks but you are right, I am looking for something better and am currently going back and forth with possibilities.
Cheers for your help mate. Very much appreciated.

Haha, you are right!

I am pretty confident a Seimitsu LS-32 or LS-40 will fit without modification to holes, or my local friend NEO-GEO man has some SUZO's that I am currently working with too.
