Taking Sounds from Games

I was thinking about this and just wondered what would be the best method?

I have a patch cable (with the little plugs on both ends) so I could hook the NGPC up to the MIC port on my sound card and record that way?

cresus already has a ton recorded. I will find out the link from him, I forget what it is.

BTW, I would just use an emu and record it through the soundcard.

That's what I would do too. It's a wonderful thing, having a cable to connect a headphone port to a computer.
