I posted a little bit about this cart in the tech section. I didn't get much info, so I opened the cart. Is this a conversion, boot, or is this cart legit?

Looks pretty legit to me. The solder joints on the chips all share a similar consistency, with a few errors typical of SNK boards.

the damage to the cart sticker is disheartening, but I don't see anything suspicious with the board.

Damage to the cart sticker? Where are you seeing this? There isn't any damage.
My suspicion about the cart's authenticity can be found in a thread that I had previously posted in the general tech section.

Yeah, that's a shadow and from a different camera that I had used before I had opened the cart. The label is flawless, both then and now.
