Well I was looking under gamefaqs.com and they have this level select code, just says press Option at the Sega Logo, but it does not work. What am I doing wrong? Seems TOO simple enough, but nothing confirms it. Anyone else have a different way to go about it?

You have to have EVERY puzzle piece. It does work. It is the debug/level select menu code, same as all the other sonic games. It will let you automatically go into the special stage or start with 6 emeralds, etc.

Speaking of puzzle pieces.

Where is the bottom right corner piece of the Tails/Miles puzzle? Its my last piece and I have been trying ever since I got this thing.

Known that part for sure, but I just need it to use the debug mode, so I thought there was a glitch perhaps

Thanks so much! At least it's not a glitch or rumor

Sorry nesagwa, I picked up every puzzle piece and it still did not unlock the debug mode. I think those who claim they did were playing some special debug version of Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure.

Speaking of the bottom right corner piece of the Tails/Miles Puzzle, I think I know which one it is. It should be on the second casino stage, and it isn't easy to pick up. It took me forever to locate it because the top pinball stage is huge, and the puzzle piece is hidden off in the upper left corner, not otherwise visible unless you fall down the left and huge the wall. I don't remember just how I did it, but it's one of those annoying rooms with a lot of bumpers to frustrate your effort to enter it.

It is in the game. If you use R.A.P.E. to emulate Sonic, it will let you get to the menu. I just dont know how to actually get there in the REAL game.

I've got all the puzzle pieces, but it's been I while I got them...
All it unlocks is the bonus stage selection in the options, as far as I know.

+ sound test menu :p
Yeah, the sound test menu is awesome. I think the music for Sonic Pocket Adventure is some of the best themes I've heard in a while. I love scratching the turntable.

Nope nope...
You get the sound test menu after having finished the game, no connection with puzzle pieces.

Incorrect. You have to complete 3 puzzles before the Sound test menu is unlocked. It doesn't matter which 3 puzzles.

SECRETS OF THE SONIC:

<a href="http://www.duckmaker.com/ngp/x/sonic.jpg" target="_blank">http://www.duckmaker.com/ngp/x/sonic.jpg</a>

This is screen shots of the Debug Menu taken with RAPE.

The Debug Menu is in fact in the game. But Rape has a hack to where you just push option to make it come up, probably where that false information about getting to the debug menu came from.

Too bad the emulator is horrible and crashes after you start playing.

Maybe Rev could do something like this in his whole NeoPop online mission and try and figure a way to do the whole option trick easier.

(there are 2 test levels in level select after the moon level and special stage, the first is bascially a remix of the first stage, didnt look at the second though).
