That's some sad reading <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" /> <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" /> <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" />

Hey, I suppose that Battle Royal was a wrestling game and not a game of the film?

Neo Tekken? Neo Mortal Kombat? <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" />

Personally, I think the system could have benefitted from a Fire Pro title... Fire Pro Neo, perhaps?

I mean, c'mon, even the Wonderswan b/w system had a FPW game on it. <img src="graemlins/annoyed.gif" border="0" alt="[Annoyed]" />

That said, I thought that Fatal Fury 2001 would appear on this. I actually once had a GBA game that looked like a NGPC Mark of the Wolves. It had Terry (MOTW style), Rock, Mai, Andy, Joe, Ryo, Dong Hwan, and Jae Hoon.

I think SNK licensed Pac-Man from Namco.

Like Sonic Pocket Adventure, it was a team at SNK who did the port.

But, if Namco licensed Pac-Man, why could they not do the same for Tekken? Besides, SNK wanted all the help they could get...

SNK have always been reluctant to allow third parties to make games on their hardware.

In the case of Midway and Acclaim, I can't believe the rubbish they churn out would be accepted.

For SNK to port pac-man to the NGPC is not to large a task, there is hardly very much graphics and sound.

For SNK to convert a 3D fighting game to a low-res low-colour portable device is a mammoth task, the project would have to be initiated from scratch (unlike sonic where SNK had a megadrive version to work from). SNK wouldn't bother as they have their own more 2D friendly fighting series to work with.

A mon avi.

Hmm, yeah, but the Tekken license is SO popular in every single territory, I dont think even SNK could turn it down.

Only for mindless fourteen year old button hammerers who can't play real games.

And fools who read FHM I think they like it too...

These are not SNK.

hmm.. I dont think personally they would bother with Tekken on the NGPC, they have far better fighters already.. plus the translation wouldn't be good.

Super deformed baby !

Hey, don't knock Tekken...it's a good fighter. Only novices button bash, and a true player will be able to take them out any day of the week. Of course, those are few and far between because of the series' popularity DOES push it's audience into the FHM crowd. Pity, because it has given a good game a bad reputation for mindless players.

Oh, and to see a GOOD Tekken game (well, better than the piss-poor GBA crap) on hand-held less powerful than the NGPC, check out the Wonder Swan card game...maybe it could have been something like this?
