I bought a pocket color back when they first came out and was really impressed with it. BUT i was a college student, and my truck broke down, and well you can guess what happened next. Anyway, i have been missing it lately, so i decided to try to locate one. I ended up getting one with Match of the Millennium and an AC adapter for $50. Did I do okay or get ripped off? I thought it was a good deal . . .

$50 to be able to play MOTM seems like a good deal to me!
:)
Which NGPC did you get?

Seems fair to me. If you enjoy the game for that amount of money you spent, hell ya! <img src="graemlins/makeface.gif" border="0" alt="[Make Face]" />

Very nice deal then, the stone blue one is quite unusual and sought after!

Well all those are goodies!
Of course the Metal Slugs are great, In fact all the NGPC games are good!
Some better than others of course, but if I was you I'd buy any that come your way cheap!

If you intend to search for particular titles, then it may be nice to get examples of all the genres?
Sounds as though you are really into your fighters! So apart from them...
Turf Masters is my favorite sports game.
Cotton or Metal Slug are the only shooters.
Puzzle Bobble and Puyo Pop are my fav' puzzlers.
There's not much between the casino games, but I personally prefer the fruit machines to the card games.
RPGs? I like Dark Arms and Faselei! Which are at the two ends of the budget!

I am actually into all genres of games, just most of my exposure to snk games are the fighters. rpgs's are probly my favorites, but i make room for all good games, regardless of genre.

Gah! Its Ironic. I had a stone blue NGPC with MOTM in it which was stolen. I hate hotel maids...

Fuckin' A. Faselei kicks serious ass. I unfortunately had to spend 90 bucks on Ebay to get a copy a while back (when I had a lot of cash to burn), but I'm glad I have it now. Great road trip game. Love that strategy.

Awesome. <img src="graemlins/multi.gif" border="0" alt="[Multi Color Bouncey]" />

I'm really sorry to say it but you can always check the market price on Ebay, right?

NGPC + MOTM + AC = $50 is definitely a good deal, am I right or wrong?

I think everyone in here will say YES.

So why ask? <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

I think you know it's a good deal but just want to "confirm" or "make sure", right?

I think the question was a new members first post.

I find it hard to believe in over 7800 posts you have never asked a question which you could have answered for yourself by searching the web for a short while.

1) I'm the first one (and I was a newbie at that time) to urge people using "Search" feature in NG.com in early 2001.

2) I rarely ask people about "good deal" or stuff because I'm willing to pay for what I want to pay; and I'm happy about it

Do I answer your question?
;)
