When I was at college studing media we had loads of arcades like X-men vs street fighter, Tekken 3 ( awful ), sega rally and a 6 slot MVS Neo Geo arcade. It had King of Fighters 94, Bust a move, Super side kicks 2, some golf game, Metal slug 2 and some other game. When Metal slug was released in the arcades there was loads of posters advertising the new game around the college and a competition to win the posters. When it came in there was tons of people waiting to play. It was madness.
Metal Slug 3 was promoted at my college when it was released!
