Dark Arms: Did you like/hate it?

I just got this game today, and playing for 15mins as of now, it reminds me a little bit of Parasite Eve 1 with the gun upgrades, but reminds me of Fester's Quest just a tad as the gameplay. Im starting to like it. Whats your opinion on it?

One of my all time fave ngpc games. Very very very cool game, awesome multiplayer, simple fantastic.

Man I wanted a sequel so bad.

It was fun while it lasted, although it doesn't last long.
By the way, I think the hero character sprite really suffered from the lack of colors...

As for 2 players links, everyone told me they were cool, but I never got the chance to try them.

Dark Arms is always in my top 5 if not #1 NGPC game. It just reminded me of Zelda and I love all the arms.

Ironically, when I'm playing Link to the Past on my GBA SP now, I'm wishing all the time that Link had some Dark Arms with him.

Oh yeah, Dark Arms is a great game. It's somehow very satisfying..especially that crab claw arm (it's been a while, Ican't remember the name).

So, what were everybody's favorite arms? I always used that crab claw with lightning and a laser gun ice.

Damn, now I've got an urge to play it again. Maybe I'll just play through that final dungeon.

Dark Arms is in my list of top ten games as well. I loved the aspect of evolving the arms, combining them with different elements to combat certain monsters, capturing all these ghosts make me feel like a big man, or a ghostbuster. I don't think it'd be at all fair to play against my friend though, I have all 15 arms and advanced them to level 50, every one of them.

My favorite one is the one that makes me feel like K'9999.
Dummy Trap is hilarious too, I love that.

I really want to play Dark Arms over again. You're literally invincible once 3 of your arms are fully powered up. The RoundT w/lightning, the Shotgun w/flame, and the Vanisher w/ice|water.

You have the range to take out any enemy, the RoundT is almost invulnerable, and with the Vanisher, the Medusa is rendered completely helpless.

I would say that DA ranks up there with CFC, MOTM, Gals Fighters, and KOF:BDP as one of the best games on the system. I have put innumerable hours into DA and I still love the game.
