Pardon my stupidity, is there a version of the NGPC with a back light? If there is not, then maybe, I will try to put in a back light for the NGPC.

My advice: but th ekit from portable monopoly and see if you can apply anything you see from that to a NGPC.</strong><hr></blockquote>
Thank! I was think of that but at US$35, it is too expensive for something that cost only 50cent in part, I am going to work on it tonight, if I am sucessful, I post pic. Someone who have done this could share some info?

you may be very wrong abotu the parts and the allowed space in the NGPC. You'll see. The parts for the backlight are cheap if you buy in bulk, but you might not just find them in any hobby shop. Consider portablemonopoly.com as a last resort at least, and good luck on your efforts, man.

Thank!I got a transparent one, seem like there is even space but kind of a squeeze.

Yup! Looking at it now and experimenting

Anyone wants to try making a homebrew one?</strong><hr></blockquote>
I am partly successful, you need to place a white paper underneath the LCD, then put remove the metal band around the LCD, put in the light like GBA and bingo. It work somehow, I am not able to do fully because I can get the F$%King joystick off!

How do you remove the thumb knob thing? I twist and I pull and I yank but it never even move an milimetres! Thank!
I went to the link, it say 404 error, email send to him.
Anyone would like to try the backlight? Put 2 0403 LED on the side of the screem, wire it to the 3V battery, put a piece of white paper underneath, without the paper, the internal of the NGPC will show up!
