I found these awhile ago, it's nice to know that as long as the United States Patent office survives, the NGPC will forever be immortalized there.

Yes, I was doing research surfing through government patents, then someone mentioned there were patents of old toys like Transformers, etc. So I got sidetracked and eventually searched for videogames on a whim and found a bunch of NGPC patents.

Curiously enough, there are 4 patented NGPCs. None of which appear to be the NNGPC. Seems like there are two patents each for the B&W NGP (can tell by the two dials on the bottom) and the NGPC (only one dial).

In the picture, the "Term" field says:
14 years

This will mean that our pocket could be legally counterfeit in the year 2014?
Well I don't know about laws and legal paper (And in English, worse), anyone can clarify this?

PD: Oh well, I se the two "**" in front of "Term". Do you know what does it mean?

That means we could get the patents for that thing and re-release them with new shells and stuff.
