We all constantly debate about which KOF is the best or whatever!

But doesn't anyone else just love some of the music in SNK games?

Lets all put down our fave Song from a Neo Geo games cus lets face it, there has been lots!

Mine is Psycho Soldier from King Of Fighters 94!

The only one that comes to mind at the moment is Hotaru's music from Mark of the Wolves.

Dunk Dreams soundtrack rocks. Gotta love the cheesy 80's hip hop...

My second fave would be Viewpoint's Soundtrack...

My top 5 list:

1.) Metal Slug 3, tie for levels 2 & 4 (for the pure Heavy Metalness)
2.) Magician Lord, Level 2 (very feudal and dramatic music)
3.) Last Resort, Level 1 (guitars, great percussion and a modest set of techno)
4.) Viewpoint, Boss music (just real sweet house music)
5.) NAM'75, Level 2 (great rhythm, bass, drama, and perfect for this game)

For the KOF enthusiasts who love KOF music, and for the record, I have neither played nor seen/heard a KOF game in my life. How is that possible? God only knows.

The Last Blade character select screen seems to come off the top of my head, as does the first stage music.

MOTW has some good music.

KOF is a mixed bag baby.

King of Fighters 1996, Osaka.

I love all of the Metal Slug music. Gets me so caught up in the game that I forget about everything else. :)

No particular order:

Blazing Star - intro and boss area music

Viewpoint - 2nd stage

Ragnagard - intro, Xeena stage

KOF 97 - intro

KOF 94 - Ikari Warriors' stage

Last Blade 2 - intro

Neo Driftout - intro (also first track), 3rd track (I think it's Africa)

Stakes Winner 2 - almost the entire game

Fatal Fury - Raiden stage (I actually like SNES verion's music better)

FYI, MOTW, Rock's stage, the music is called Children by Robert Miles

Actually I like the Zombie Mission BGM of Metal Slug 3 the most, but I also like to listen to the ABSOLUTELY GREAT BGM of Strikers 1945 plus - the best atmospheric sound I ever heard in a Neo Game. The closest to WW II-atmosphere made by sound - I can´t believe!

Too many, but these ones have not been mentioned:

Earthquake’s stage in SS1 is awesome, the same goes for Galford’s one.

Not to mention the first epic and brief song that you hear after beating Zankuro in SS3, or Kukuro’s one in SS3….

Lee’s song in AOF,

AOF Team in KOF 96

Last Resort music

All of KOF 96, especially "Kamikiri" from the Ryuuko no ken stage(the cd version rocks).
The Garou Densetsu stage in KOF 94 also is pretty good.

Yeah! When I heard 'Neapolitan' for the first time I couldn't get it out of my head!
