Yeah. I was on Gamewinners.com and they said that you could play as Leo the big fat dude that you see
in the beginning of FF:First contact that isn't playable in RBFF2.

I understand he is only playable in link-up 2 player games, but I don't have two copies so I don't know.

He is in the link up version. He is like more
forgotten than Axel Hawk.

Well, speaking of Laos, is he any good? Has anyone played him before?

They should replace Laos for Blue Mary. I am suprised that she wasn't in FF first contact.

What's the story with Laos? I managed to link two NGPC's together to play FF: First Contact and his moves all look like Sokaku like moves, huge apparitions or ghosts appear with the flailing of his arms or legs. I also noticed that FF: First Contact has an earlier product code number than King of Fighters R-2, which suggests that Yumekobo and SNK's co-development of Fatal Fury was their first foray into programming for the Pocket Color, thus they really pushed the limit on the processor and sometimes it seems a tad bit slower than King of Fighters R-2, but everything just looks gorgeous on Fatal Fury: First Contact I think. I think the other thing that changed was the way Yumekobo and SNK programmed their 'transparencies'. In Fatal Fury: First Contact, these were managed by fast flickering of the sprite they wanted to appear transparent, which is still evident if you pause the game, but in later releases and in King of Fighters R-1 as well, they reduced it to just alternating between two sprites to simulate the transparency, which seems to reduce the system processing burden a lot...I think.
