Has anyone ever gotten Kyo's picture from Gals Fighters?

Despite how many times I have played through Gals Fighters, I have yet to collect that item. No biggie though, the comfortable combo system and the cute characters as well as the hilarity just keeps me coming back. I don't know why, but Miss X never gets old for me. I am unsure how the special items are awarded, but it seems totally random, I've tried to finish the opponent with perfects, within ten second, more than several hit combos, etc. and so forth and Yuki has yet to yield to me her item. Is it just because the picture on the box was one during the development phase?

I had a used copy at one point in time, and the person that had played it before had that item. Didn't have a chance to play the game much tho.

How do you reset it? I've never found an option that allows you to reset the data of Gals Fighters

The only definite items I know how to get are the Spare Mask, the Free Coupon, the School uniform, and Kyo's Medalion. Gomen...

Unfortunately, I don't believe anyone knows how to get those items. I've tried various things to try to improve my chances of collecting those items and it still feels completely random. I have the Japanese version, so once I get a few minutes to myself I'll sit down and translate it for you ^_^

My guess is Smokey is just blowing a lot of smoke. I have never found a way to reset any of the games that didn't have the option made available. According to the nearly exhaustive Neo Geo Pocket resource page I listed, it seems there is a way to reset the data of Ganbare Neo Poke Kun by holding down A+B+Option and then turning on the Neo Geo Pocket, so I tried that with Sonic and with Gals Fighters, but no dice, it looks like it has to be programmed.

To reset the puzzle data in sonic you go to the puzzle menu, hit down (highlighting "initialize puzzle", and it asks you if you want to clear the data.

That may be true, but you can't initialize the data so that the continue function becomes once again disabled. That's the thing I'm getting at. Everything else you can reset, like the Time Trial and the Puzzle pieces, but the continue mode, no way, once you clear a level you can just access the level through continue, it's true you can just play through the game from the beginning, but you lack the satisfaction of knowing you cleared the level and unlocked it, you know?
