Possibilities to buy rights from unreleased games

Does anybody kow who bought the intellectual rights of SNK. Maybe it is possible to buy the rights from a unreleased game like Ikari Warriors. I think there are some complete games and maybe someone van buy the rights of these games to release the games as after-market games. This happend with other systems as well, like the Jaguar and Sega-CD. Anybody has an opinion about possibilities of releasing finshed unreleased games as aftermaerket games.

As the companies holding the rights to SNK's licenses are still producing titles associated with the missing pocket games (KOF-R3/KOF2001 pocket namley) it is unlikley that they would allow the pocket versions to be released under anything other that the most professional circumstances.

This would prove expensive for anyone undertaking the task, and would most likley make the project unfeasible.

I think Playmore are the company to get in touch with if you have a daddy oil baron...

I was more thinking about Ikari Warriors. I have the feeling this game was completed yet and the franchise is almost dead with no releases in more than a decade.

Don't forget about World Heroes... I don't know if they actually had been in work, never saw any (prototype)screenshots of both World Heroes,Ikari Warriors and KOF R-3.
