QUESTION

I have recently purchased the UK version of King of Fighters R1. However, the case and instructions are fine and in Mint condition, but the english sticker on the cart is covering the Jap skicker, is this right???? eek!

Yeah, that's how mine is, too, and I know another guy whose copy is the same. Obviously, they're not all like that, but it doesn't seem to be too uncommon, either.

By the way, have you noticed that in the manual the Heroine Team is called the Heroin Team? Hahah, that's the best SNKlish of them all!

Yeah, that Engrish is intact in the Japanese version as well. King of Fighters R-1 is a must own because you get to play Chizuru and Kim Kaphwan, as well as Orochi Iori, Orochi Leona and Orochi! OMG! eek! Much wider character selection compared to King of Fighters R-2 in my opinion, I wish SNK was willing to splurge on the 32 Meg cart and make it much more beefier. They've hardly whet my appetite with the Ex versions of Terry, Ryo, Yuri, Mai, the only new characters consist of Rugal, Kasumi and Saishu.

Oh, the sadness that is King of Fighters R-3, never to be ever realized...
