question about lik-sang's ngpc

hi there,

does anyone know, which ngpc they have for sale? there are only pictures of the slimline version and they didn't ask for a color of my choise, when i ordered mine about 3 days ago.

i've got a feeling, that it'll be a light blue standard ngpc and not a slimline. annoyed
well ... let's hope, that they won't send me a piss-style yellowish one.

anyway ...
please let me know, which color and version (standard ngpc or slimline) you got off of their hands. thanks.

The yellow one is my favorite! But they told me they had no yellow's in stock so it's probably a blue.

I ordered two in their last clearout - and specifically checked that they would be slimlines. Wasn't too fussed about the colour.

What I actually got was two Stone Blue originals - one US packaging and one UK packaging.

I was not (and am not) a happy bunny.

They did offer me a $20 discount on my next order but I am seriously debating whether to ever use them again. It's all a question of trust isn't it?

I don't know what's up with the HK companies. They all use the same Slimline picture, because I suspect they used the same stock photo, and since they aren't Neo Geo Pocket specialists they wouldn't even know the difference, so it's best not to trust the photos and ask before hand for a real picture.

Well, I'm currently debating whether to get a GP32 from them - the alternative is to get one from GBAX and pay VAT - or I might just give them another go and order Densha de Go, but if I don't then, yeah, you can have it.

Not sure if I'd have to place the order though, but I'm sure we sort something out closer to the time if need be...

I ordered my NGPC the last time they did their "sale". I got the Stone Blue and it was NOT a slimline. As far as anyone on the boards are concerned, I don't think ANY of the Lik-Sang NGPCs were slimline. Could be wrong though.

Didn't Lik-sang get sued a while back over the backup stuff? (mainly Gameboy Advance)
I think they changed hands and are owned by a different company. Their customer service is usually pretty good about responding to e-mails, but I still don't think they are as good as they used to be. Oh and anyone know anything about play-asia.com? They have a GP32 for only $145
