Bust-A-Move Again/Puzzle Bobble 2: Possibly Dumb Question

So, PB2 is supposed to have attract mode sound effects & intro music isn't it?

The one I got recently is dead silent after the Neo-Geo inverting logo. In-game music & sound effects are as expected.

Visual inspection of the boards was pretty unexciting, though A couple suspect joints were re-touched (to no effect).

Setup is an AES console with Euro BIOS & Daedalus converter --no issues with any of the other 16 carts I've fed them.

Glad I found this thread, I just ran into the same issue. Too bad about the audio, but it least it is a known issue.
