sorry, but my knowledge about the pocket is quiet limited.

you guys are talking about the UK version, right.

just wanted to know why are you calling them 'UK' version. I've only 2 games (MS 1&2) and they're both non-jap & non-US version - probably UK. but behind my games I can see there's french warning in the red square. I bought those games here in France, so I wonder if there is a specific version for France, UK and other EURO countries - or they all the same (?)

so, then 'UK' or 'EURO' version (?)

thanks for replies.

if there's a clamshell pocket game that isn't a japanese or us version it's a euro version. This is just what a clamshell game from the non-us world is. I've got a hong kong version of MOTM but I know It's still considered euro because it's a clamshell

Thats why we should just call those games Eurasian because they came out in places other than the UK too.

Well, you can only configure the NGPC to either English or Japanese so, unless you can select a language in software you'll be stuck with one of those two options.

I can't think of any games off the top of my head which have any other language options though...

I think it has just become a name for them. They are in English and were released in the UK (as well as Europe and Asia) so people do refer to them as the UK, but it would be more prudent to call them English Clamshell NGPC Games.....

.....but it doesn't always fit in the Auction title!! :D

Yeah, it's just become the convenient acronym, as AES is used with homecarts. AES doesn't make sense, but people use it anyway spock . I guess somebody made up UK, and it stuck.
