For the Pocket, none. For the Pocket Color 2. 1st and 2nd Mission :)

Speaking of which a US 2nd mission just sold for 103 bucks...almost makes me consider selling mine if I knew that wasn't just a fluke.

2 people in a bidding war shoulda quit a long time ago.

Because this UK version only went for 56

Ah, that's just funny. What a moron... that's definitely just a fluke. Any NGPC collector would take a clamshell version over a crappy card board box version, especially at that price difference.

I personally don't even think the MS's on NGPC hold true to the series. 1st Mission is skippable while 2nd Mission is good, yet still falls a little short for me. I just don't feel like I'm playing MS when I play them.

Let the flaming commense... :D

my american 2nd mission is worth twice as much as the ugly clamshell for a reason: because it's rarer and looks more attractive. 2nd mission came out a few weeks before the ngpc was killed off. So it should be worth something. and it's more true to the series than any of the mvs games I've played, I don't know what you're smoking :p

Well, what I'm smoking is of no concern to you. loco

But seriously, how can the NGPC Metal Slug be "more true to the series" then the MVS games? Those are the originals, as in, what the NGPC MS's are being compared to here. That doesn't make sense. spock

I think what feels wrong about the NGPC MS's to me, is the level designs. They just aren't the same as the original Metal Slugs. But I can understand why it was done: to make the game last longer. It just doesn't work though. I play MS games on a single credit for score and the NGP versions don't play as such. It feels less like a shmup and more like an adventure game.

But that's just me I guess. :)

I agree with Subcons on the fact that they aren't true to the system, but here is why I think that is true. They weren't designed to be arcade games, even the AES is an arcade game, playable at home. For this reason they are programmed differently. I find they enjoyable still, but I agree that they don't play like the arcade versions.

If I had that many Ikarugas sitting around I would use half as coasters and give the rest of them to the salvation army to sell off for a dollar each.
