Ok..it's been brought to my attention that there are a TON of cart only copies of Faselei on eBay right now. Very odd. What's even stranger is that NONE of them have manuals or boxes, all are listed as "English versions" and to top it off, they all have ESRB ratings on the sticker like they're US versions. As far as I know, this was NEVER released in the US, so this makes NO sense.

Is someone pertetrating a big scam and trying to knock the value of the Euro version down? What's the deal here???

A lot of 'un-released' cart only games seem to have reently appeared in Hong-Kong. If you look back through the threads here, you can see the whole story unfold.

Here's the big thread I posted when these carts started appearing:

Very interesting. So basically it's a huge flux of US demo carts. Anyone got a list of all the ones that are in English? I'd like to get a couple others in English (already have a Euro Faselei complete).

They are the US games that would have come out here if SNK hadnt dropped the console and went out of business.

Whoops...meant to say protos but I guess that isn't accurate either. Pre-production carts would be more accurate. Anyway, what titles are ones that are around in this particular state? Anyone?

There are also US copies of Last blade as well as european copies of games such as Pocket reversi and Picture puzzle.

If another unreleased US game had surfaced my guess it would have been Dynamite slugger since it was featured in the last US ngpc ad and it had also <a href="http://www.esrb.com/search_results.asp?key=dynamite+slugger&type=game" target="_blank">gotten it's ESRB rating</a>.

someone should post that advertisement for maxlords again.
These appear to actually be production run carts. The story goes that at the cancellation of the NGPC, all returned games were to be destroyed. Seems the boxes went first (cheapest part). Or these never even got to the packaging stage, althought the boxes are shown in the previously mentioned ad.

Wow, I had no idea what kind of impact the Faselei carts had on the eBay sellability of the Faselei! UK complete carts. The same seller listed this game twice, and he couldn't even sell it at $70.00, no one touched his Buy it Now of $110.00.

The cycle has come full circle.

Over saturation has caused prices to drop again. ITS A BUYERS MARKET ONCE AGAIN BABY!

Buy up, because in a few months-year the price will skyrocket again I'm sure. There couldn't be a ton of these around.

Hmmm, looks like I spoke too soon. Aparently UK Faselei can still fetch decent prices, guess it all depends on the collector. <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=38598&item=3021640886" target="_blank">Witness.</a>

They are all full versions and 100% legit.

I have a lot of the US faselei, and other titles for sale....

but... they were being outsourced somewhere out of Japan.. My main supplier bought them up.. and the people you see selling them on Ebay are buying them from this main supplier.

Well... This main supplier supposively has the massive stock... and I have been talking with them and doing business with them for over 2 years now. Well.... there are absolutely no manuals or boxes printed for these games.

this is a little speculation, but right now prices are HELLA cheap because everyone is trying to dump them for a quick buck.
I believe.. and I am almost 100% certain in 1.3 - 2 years you will see a nice price spike when they are not available anymore. They are going rather quick at these prices.

I have 95 faselei still in stock. But I am not dropping the price for cart only.
<a href="http://www.egameaddiction.com/neo_geo_pocket_color.htm" target="_blank">http://www.egameaddiction.com/neo_geo_pocket_color.htm</a>

There.. you can check my current stock. I will be getting more in. they have been going slowly for right now, but...... I am willing to hold them for the future.
edit: I know for sure..... 5 titles are now sold out. The remaining 17 are going quickly. these have only been on the open market for aroudn 1 month now... and disappearing FAST. There was only 1500-2000 US faselei for the whole world (supposively).... cannot vouch 100% officially on that though.

Alright, thanks for the info BV.

I do think the Faselei! US will go up in value, but what about the other games? Meaning, how many UK Reversi's were produced and how many carts are out there? US Last Blade? You seem to be the best source right now....

well... I would have to ask ( more LD charges)... but... I'll drop them a line and see.

There were japanese titles like Party Mail released too... BUT... there seems to have already been a release of them.

its funny because my supplier is only listing the US/Uk games because most of the Jpn games you cannot read the labels... they are official labels, but I am not sure what they are either.

Maybe I'll drop some images sometime, and if you guys can read Japanese... or whatever, maybe someone can help :)
