I was going to check out the inside of my NGPC, but I can't take it apart fully. The control stick doesn't seem to separate from the mainboard which prevents the front shell from coming off. I would just tug on it, but I don't want to break my system. Any suggestions?
Anyone taken apart a NGPC?

The little cap of the stcik will come off the actual stick if you yank on it with some needlenose pliers. It's not even glued, I don't think (I've taken apart three systems: 1 B&W and 2 Colors) and it fits bavck on just as tightly as if it had never been removed.

kim you need to treat your NGPC better frown
Some mentioned to me about using the end of something like a plastic pen. Melt the end of the pen (it needs to be a thin one for the NGPC though). And push it on the head of the 3 pronged screw. Wait till it dries, and unscrew. It may not work all the time, but i have tried this on a nomad and it did work! 
I suppose it will depeand on how tight the screw is though.........
